Bounty On James A. Murphy, After a 4th Straight Win

It had been discussed amongst League of Outlaws drivers now for a couple weeks and it finally came to fruition. James A. Murphy, has once again not only won again, but absolutely dominated as he again led all 75 laps of last nights Slider Stuffer 75 at Eldora Speedway. The LoO has now placed a bounty on James A. Murphy across both the LoO Craftsman Truck DIRT Series and the LoO IMCA Style Modified Series. The first driver to win a race not named James A Murphy will receive $10 and will claim the Bounty.

You watch though, James Murphy won’t win one of these times and it will end up being his brother, Jared Murphy. Brother Jared came home with a remarkable P2 last night with Chris R. Cox in a strong P3 in a race that had 6 yellow flags and was a top line, ride the cushion track.

Speaking of which, there was a bit of discussion between drivers and league admins about the racing “fast line”. Drivers were reminded of the league rules during the drivers meeting about “wall riding” and some drivers were testing their limits with the rule and using the wall heavily the improve their lap time. At the end of it all, Carson Cherry was gifted a 1 lap penalty for wall riding. His 4th place effort wouldn’t stand and he would settle with a 12 place finish at the end of it all.
