Craftsman Truck Series Dirt League?

NASCAR has shown over the years that they have an interest in dirt racing. They did the Prelude to the Dream at Eldora, Bristol on Dirt, and Trucks at Knoxville, although there are no plans for NASCAR to return to a dirt track in the 2024 NASCAR season. Love it or hate it, the dirt racing in NASCAR has put on some good racing.

It has been rumored that there have been conversations in the League of Outlaws of a possible second confirmed class to run in the league. So we asked AJ Hunsinger about it.

“I am certainly the one pushing for a NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series league for sure. I think the NASCAR stuff on dirt has been awesome to watch in real life. When guys like Johnathan Davenport are coming to NASCAR to compete on dirt, that is great for the sport. I’ve tossed the idea around of running a dirt only Truck league and if we get enough interest, I think we will roll it out in the League of Outlaws.”, AJ said.
