Last nights ICEBREAKER 30 with the LoO IMCA Style Modifieds, caught the eyes of many people. The event was broadcasted by PeaceMaker Gaming and the broadcast generated over 750 views. One of those viewers was Dugan Hubert from Hubert racing. He fell in love with the series and what we were going for and reached out to Aaron at PeaceMaker Gaming to get more information about sponsoring our league.
Dugan reached out to us at the League of Outlaws and he elected to sponsor the next LoO IMCA Style Modified Series race which is held on November 19th at Cedar Lake. He specifically wanted to sponsor the race winner. So, whoever crosses the start/finish line after 30 laps to win the Season Opener will cash in on a nice little payday.
Hubert Racing consists of Dugan’s father Marcus Hubert, his uncle Dustin Hubert, and himself. They are all based out of Kankakee, Illinois. His father races open limited two stroke dirt karts and Dugan himself races dirt oval RC cars.
During our conversion, we asked Dugan what motivated him to want to sponsor our league.
“I just wanted to sponsor a race to help the sim racing world a boost because it is an absolutely great way for racers to perfect and practice their craft and for new people to experience and learn the sport of dirt racing.”
The Hubert family immediately came across as a very racing oriented family and these kind of people, are our people. We are stoked to have Hubert Racing on board with sponsoring our league. We hope this will motivate other people, small businesses, and organizations to chime in with future sponsorship as well but Hubert Racing will forever be the very first ever sponsor of the League of Outlaws.
