Carson Cherry, Wins in Sport COmpacts

The P!SS Missile Punch-Out is the first official Sport Compacts race ever hosted by 2FGR and it was a huge success. A lot of drivers and spectators of the event chimed in with very positive feedback and said it was a lot of fun. 15 drivers started the race and with no points and no money on the line, there was only one goal and that was to to win the race. There was only room for one driver in victory lane and the man that claimed it was Carson Cherry after leading 33 of 35 laps.

AJ Hunsinger battled very hard and came up just short of the win as he ran second to Carson. It is no secret that there is some bad blood between Carson and AJ, but the two of them put on a great show for the fans as they traded paint back and forth but showed each other a lot of respect at Eldora Speedway.

Brayton Kajewski brought his VW Beetle home in third place and just like in typical fashion, ran right near AJ Hunsinger and he and AJ always find themselves running with each other in just about every type of car and class they run together in. Mitch Maynard put up a good effort and was quick all day but had some issues with another driver and fell to the back mid race and was never able to make his way back to the front after leading 2 laps.

Mitch is working on the setting for the next 2FGR hosted event and the details will be announced soon.
